Graphic Design
I started doing graphic design when i was 8 years old, back then my father was working for a advertising company and i basicly joined in on hes work and learned from him. At the age of 10 I've mastered Photoshop enough to sell my first logotype, and since then I've been doing graphic designs for people, companies and associations.
These days it is not what i spend most of my time on, but i do it basicly every day. There is always a logo to make, a button to style or a design to edit. Since i learned CSS I've spent more time doing graphic design in programming then ever, it is alot faster and way more accessible, but sometimes you just cannot do without some nice Photoshop made images.
So to sum it up, I've probably done about a thousand different graphics for equally many people in my days. But I'm always evolving and making new things, check out the 'Client' section of the page for some examples.
Web Design
Web design is so much more to me then to make a image in Photoshop. That seems to be the general idea amongs people in this business, they make the design, get paid and think nothing more of it. I on the other hand always think about accessibility, user availability and the whole picture when i make a design, alot of times i make a basic design to start out with, to have a general idea of how the website should look, and then i make it into code and edit it so it becomes the perfect fit for the client.
I couldn't tell you how many times I've done re-designs of my own work because the client had a idea how to make it better, after all it is not my website so the client has the last say in everything i do. I see myself more as a creative tool when it comes to designing then anything else, i transform their ideas into something usefull and most of the time, very beutiful.
Profiling
Doing profiling for a company is not as easy as one would think, because it's not all about the design, it is also about the feeling that you get from seeing a website, a logo or a paperhead from that very company. What does the company want their customers to feel when they contact them? Profiling is about creating feelings!
Making a profile for a company means that I do a complete graphical workup for them, logotypes, paperheads, businesscards and a website is examples of what a profile can contain, it can be more and it can be less then that, it is all about the clients needs and wants.
Web Development
Writing what web development is all about is very hard, because there is no real start and there is no end to it. There is no limits to what I can do, every web developer contributes to making the Internet what it is today. There are those who make games and interactive scripts, there are those who only work with databases and clients to such databases. I on the other hand work with all of this, most of the time my job is to make CMS tools, databases, dynamic websites and more along those lines, but sometimes I've also worked with games and E-Shopping tools. So instead of specializing, I chose to work with everything, developing everything is hard but that is what i love about it, every day is a new challange and i will never get bored of it.
If you have a idea for a product or a site, i do think you should contact me. Ofcourse i will not charge you anything for contacting me, i just want to have a chat with you about your ideas. It doesnt matter if its the next Facebook or if you simply want to ask about your company database build. I invite you to contact me and we can talk about it!
I also have my own projects running on the web, working togeather with others as founders and a creative team to build a product that we see a need for. Money is not always important, it's creating something beutiful and usefull that does matter.
Accessibility
Accessibility is what you might call my 'topic of heart' because i think it is very important and i don't see enough people working on it out there. For a few years now I've been working with the blind community to make the web more accessible, alot of times people who are not blind will never see my work in action because that is the point; making the web accessible without losing design and usability because of it.
Maybe i should explain this a bit better for those of you who think I'm just rabling on, accessibility on the web is the idea that blind people should be able to use the web just as well as people who can see. As you might see this isn't as easy as one might think, with all the graphics, images and videos out there to inform and explain, all of this is not usefull to people who cannot see them, so we find ways to make the web a nice and usefull place for these people aswell.
If you wish to try to use the web like a screenreader does,
(a screenreader is a tool which blind people use to read the content on the screen) then simply follow the instructions on this website:

CMS (Content Management Systems)
There is alot of CMS and tools for them out there, and i work alot with these different systems. Content management systems are used to more easily edit, add and remove the content of the website that its connected to. Wordpress is probably the most known CMS out there, alot of people use this as a blog tool but some people configure it to with ease use it to edit their website. This can be done, but you would need a web developer to integrate a CMS into your existing website, and thats where I come in. I have alot of experience with this kind of work so if you need any help, just send me a email.
The usual functions in a CMS is:
• Text Editing
• Image uploading
• Gallery management
• Visitor statistics
• Blogging
• Site structure editing
Blogs
Blogs come in all shapes and forms that you can imagine, there is free blogging systems out there that will clutter your site with ads and limit the functionality and the ways you can edit your site. I have used these tools, most of them are a OK free service, but I've found that having my own site, with my own design and my own content is alot better, you can edit anything and everything on the site, and you can chose if you wish to have ads on the site aswell as keeping the earnings from the ads yourself.
There is basicly 3 ways that i have helpt people with their blogs.
1) Editing their existing blog at for example blogspot.com, making their blog look better by editing the options that can be edited and making graphics so that the blog looks even better with a custom header and such graphics.
2) Making custom themes that they themself can upload to their own host and CMS system, like Wordpress. A custom theme will style everything that the visitors can see and make your blog look even better.
3) A complete workup where i make everything, including the CMS for them and upload everything to their website so all they have to do is start blogging away. I usually also help people with SEO and accessibility on blogs, because alot of people forget about these key features.
SEO (search engine optimization)
Search engine optimization is a world for itself, there are alot of companies offering different kinds of SEO with everything from google rankings to Facebook pages and groups. As i mentioned in the above topic, SEO is very important but alot of people forget about it! SEO is basicly what makes your website visible on the web, and what good is having a website if nobody can find it anywhere?
